New Recognition Themes and Appreciation Gifts Make it Easy for Managers to Recognize their Staff

Baudville has been in business for almost 30 years, so we have a lot of expertise and insight to share with our customers on employee recognition! One of the most important tips we share with managers is that employee recognition programs need to be as dynamic as the employees they serve. To help you keep your programs fresh and exciting, we are constantly creating new recognition themes, gifts, and tools. Recently, we released two new recognition themes  and added items to our most popular lines of appreciation gifts.

For example, consider our proprietary recognition themes. Our themes make employee recognition programs and events easy to create. Each theme is made up of exclusive artwork and messaging that we apply to gifts and tools. Using a theme makes your appreciation more effective because the repeated message reinforces the value or behavior you’re recognizing.

Now available on Baudville.com, our two new recognition themes are ready to become a part of your recognition program. The new themes “You Rock ” and “We Appreciate You ” both have more than ten unique appreciation gifts that can be included in employee recognition programs. I know the bright colors and timely sentiments will be as popular with your team as they were with ours.

We also added new Twist Top Tumblers drinkware and lapel pins. I expect the Twist Top Tumblers to be a popular corporate gift for summer events this year!

Our artists have been busy designing new lapel pins, too! You can check out their thirty new lapel pin designs online. The new lapel pins help managers keep their employee recognition programs fresh by regularly updating the appreciation gifts and awards.

At Baudville, product innovation and design has always been a top priority. Every product is designed to the highest level of design and practicality for our customers. We want to create great looking tools and gifts, and we want them to work well for our customers.

Tell us what you think! What’s your favorite new product or theme?

High Five for Friday: It's Red Hot!

Wow, I don't know about you, but this week flew by for me! I finally sat down to think about this post and the first thing that came to my mind was how obsessed I am with the color red right now and I literally want to eat, drink, wear and give RED. So, in light of that, here are some of my favorite red hot items for the week.

1. Red Velvet Waffles with Cream Cheese Frosting. I have never even seen these first hand. I have not been to the restaurant that serves these. I was just innocently watching one of my favorite shows, The Best Thing I Ever Ate, on the Food Network and my life changed forever. I just about flew through my TV to try and take a bite of these magnificent looking waffles. Then ironically, my friend (who lives by this restaurant in California), took a picture of them and posted it on Facebook like the next day. I have NOT stopped thinking about them and I am about to get on a plane to get them. YUMMY!

2. Sweet Treats. Last Friday for Employee Appreciation Day, these Sweet Treats were one of the goodies in our bag and honestly, I forgot how much I love red jelly beans. They really hit the spot. You should definitely get a stash of them to give out to your employees and let them know how awesome they are!

3. Red Exotic Heel Shoes. So, I went to a wedding last weekend and was so tempted to buy these shoes to go with my dress. I know you don't know me, but I am so not a heel kind of gal and yet I still think about them daily and it's taking every ounce of my being not to buy them. Do you have your eye on something right now that you know you shouldn't buy but can't stop thinking about? It's so hard!

4. Funny eCards. I am thoroughly addicted to Pinterest and one of the type of pins that is constantly floating around are these hilarious ecards. I just love them because they make me LAUGH OUT LOUD and are usually so true it hurts. This one especially, I always find myself in this situation... why am I always so hungry?

5. Employee Appreciation Day T-Shirt. We had a great day last Friday celebrating Employee Appreciation Day, and another one of my favorite gifts in the goodie bag was the t-shirt that everyone received. Who doesn't love a good t-shirt with a fun saying on it?

Well, that's it for me - I hope you had a great week and wish you a wonderful weekend! Don't forget Spring Forward!!

Low Cost Holiday Gifts for the Generations

Team gift shopping is hard, especially around the holidays. You want to give the members of your team a token of your appreciation, but how do you choose a gift that’s meaningful for everyone without using all your time and resources searching for it?

We’ve put together gift suggestions for three generations currently in the workplace, Generation Y, also known as Millennials, Generation X, and Baby Boomers, to help you in your quest for the ultimate team appreciation gift!

Shop for every member of your team Gifts for Generation Y and Millennials
The younger part of the workforce has been characterized by their desire to have a purpose in their work and make a difference. A gift bookhas inspiring quotes that will motivate and inspire your young team members. I recommend the One Book and Five Book, that include guides and activities to set and accomplish personal goals.

This part of your team also is passionate about caring for the environment…and coffee drinks. They love coffee drinks. Give them a new coffee mug  for the holidays. They’ll be able to use their new mug instead of disposable cups, helping the environment, and it will keep their favorite beverage hotter, longer. Bonus!

Gifts for Generation X
Generation X values work-life balance above much else, so give them a gift that will make their juggling act easier. A tote bag is a practical gift your employees can use to carry their personal items to and from work, to a child’s sporting event, or after work activity. Add a holiday greeting card with a personal message inside and a coupon for extra time off around the holidays.

Practical gifts are also a favorite among Generation X. Select a gift set with a handy tool for the car for each Generation X member of your team. The On-the-Move Gift Set  comes with a flashlight and tire gauge, and the Pathfinder Gift Set  includes compass, flashlight, and utility knife. Personalize the front with the name of the recipient to make a lasting impression.

Gifts for Baby Boomers
Baby Boomers value work as one of their great achievements in life. Honor their time and dedication with a desktop gift that will always remind them of your appreciation. Clocks are a classic award, and you can personalize your clock with a recipient’s name and date. It will have a lasting impression on your recipient!.Shop for every member of your team

For a lower cost option, present the Baby Boomers on your team with a lapel pin. Make a nice award presentation when you present the pins to express the value the pins represent.  Your team members will appreciate the symbolic award.

Each member of your team is unique, and our gift suggestions may not be the perfect fit for your teammates. Take the time to find a gift that’s just right for them with our Gift Finder and use our gift giving tips  to make it memorable.

Do you have other gift suggestions for the generations? Share them here!
