Each year when we celebrate Customer Service Week, we have a new theme to coordinate all the activities, gifts, food and decorations. Our Spirit Team, a cross-departmental group of employees who plan our employee events, labor over creative and engaging themes. You can learn more about our “party planning committee” in Cindy’s previous post.
Likewise, our product development team creates a new Customer Service Week theme on an annual basis to make your Customer Service Week planning easier. Some of our past themes were Beyond the Call and Outstanding Service, though many of our recognition themes are great for recognizing customer service professionals.
We’re all excited about this year’s new Customer Service Week theme, Service Super Hero, because the bright colors and fun sayings have so much energy. They’re also great for younger staff who will be truly excited to receive any of the theme gifts.
Here are few different ways you can use Service Super Hero gifts during Customer Service Week:
Give everyone a gift, like a travel mug or note cube, that they can use around the office.
Create a mini-recognition program for the week, and award Tokens of Appreciation for excellent service. At the end of the week, employees can redeem their tokens for other gifts.
Write a personal note inside one of the fun Service Super Hero Pocket Praise cards for each of your staff. Have the card waiting on their desk in the morning.
Share Customer Service Week excitement with the entire company by passing out colorful buttons for everyone to wear. You can even give on-the-spot rewards to employees who wear their button during the week.
End the week with a small treat for the entire team.
