It’s been a big week for our Michigan teams.

The Detroit Lions are 5-0 for the first time since 1956.

The Detroit Tigers are playing in the American League Championship Series.

The University of Michigan and Michigan State University football teams face off on Saturday.

Over all, it’s a great week to be a Michigander! Last week, we celebrated our Michigan pride with Made in Michigan themed Customer Service Week celebrations . This week, the kudos for the mitten state continues with verbal praise and morale support throughout the office. We’re cheering for our teams, talking them up on Facebook, and engaging in a little smack talk around the office.

With so much team pride going on, it’s a great time to reflect on how you’re supporting your team in the office. Are you cheering them on as they tackle a big project? Are they getting the dugout pep talks they need to stay motivated and focused on the goal? Have you given them a high five lately?

Whether or not you’re a Michigander, fall is a season for team sports and teamwork. Just don’t forget about your team off the field, too!
